Windows OSes usually apply a generic driver that allows systems to recognize the wireless component. All other drivers loaded with no issues. I started having trouble connecting to the adapter and it started freezing on me. With the original chip I can go on line but not retrive my email with MS Outlook. Let me know how it goes. I have downloaded the driver on th HP site, I have download the driver in Intel site and still won’t install.
In fact the part number on the chip is 0A. Yep i took around six months to find this driver. However, in order to use all available features of this hardware, you must install the appropriate drivers.
